Tetra Pak has produced the packaging for a new range of chilled drinks for PIP Organic designed for children.
The new range of drinks will be called PIP Kids – a range of organic juices for children and young adults.
From this week PIP Kids will be available in Tetra Wedge cartons in a number of grocery outlets, including Planet Organic, Whole Foods, Ocado.com and Waitrose.
According to the firm, PIP Kids is the first chilled product of its kind to launch in the UK market.
‘Accessible packaging’
Patrick O’Flaherty of PIP Organic, said: “We are extremely excited about the launch of PIP Kids, and proud to be the first in the UK to produce a chilled, organic drinks range for children. Having asked kids what they wanted in a juice or smoothie we feel confident that we have reflected this in the new range.
“We are hoping to be a success amongst kids and adults alike as we are offering a healthy organic product at a competitive price. Furthermore, we believe in constantly being innovative and think this is reflected in our fun and accessible packaging.”
Gail Scotland, marketing manager for Juice, Nectars and Still Drinks at Tetra Pak added: “We are delighted that PIP Organic has chosen the Tetra Wedge carton for their first range of children’s, chilled drinks.
“We are especially proud of the innovative shape of the carton, which we know is something children respond well to, and the fact that like all Tetra Pak cartons, it is made primarily from sustainably sourced materials.”
