Domino showcases new marking and coding kit
Inkjet specialist Domino will be showcasing its new marking and coding kit at this year’s PPMA Show.
The D620i 60-watt scribing laser and V220i thermal-transfer overprinter are designed reduce costs and improve production line efficiencies and maintenance as part of on-going expansion to the i-Tech range.
According to the company, the machine is “30% faster than Domino’s nearest equivalent” and incorporates a beam with higher energy density for “faster and more intense market”.
The D-series is designed to apply variable alphanumeric text, graphics and 2D data matrix codes onto plastic glass and cartons.
The V220i offers 32mm or 55mm 300dpi print heads and, according to Domino, the product responds to “diverse requirements in the food and healthcare sectors for applying information over a variety of print widths”.
Domino UK general manager Will Edwards said: “After the initial UK launch in March, we are excited to introduce new members of the i-Tech family to the rest of the UK market.”
