Design firm Jones Knowles Ritchie (JKR) has produced new packaging for Porkinson sausages that is inspired by the brand's founder.
Fashion photographer Norman Parkinson founded the brand in the 1980s and JKR was tasked with restoring his vision to the brand that has lost that association.
The flamboyant bowtie design embodies Parkinson’s quintessentially English personality, JKR said, while also providing great standout and navigation on shelf.
"The bowtie leapt out as a strong symbol of English exuberance and class. It also offered a vast array of colour and pattern to enjoy," said a JKR designer.
The back of the pack contains information about the brand’s heritage.
