Blue Marlin gives glitz to limited-edition J20 bottle
Adult soft drink brand J2O is to launch a glitzy limited-edition bottle for Christmas that has been designed by Blue Marlin.
The Glitter Berry drink contains edible gold glitter and will be appearing in pubs and supermarkets in the run up to and throughout the festive season.
Helen Gorman, brand controller at J2O maker Britvic, said: “Our limited edition J2O Glitter Berry is not only delicious, but it will also act as a great ice breaker with its fun and glittery design.
“It’s the first of its kind in the soft drinks category, and we’re confident it will appeal to adults looking for a bit of glitz and glamour.”
The drink is a mix of red grape, cherry and a hint of spice with edible gold glitter that sparkles once the bottle is shaken.
Blue Marlin creative director Simon Pendry added: “Everything about the packaging shouts ‘special’ – the sparkly swoosh, shining star and gold border on the label, the indulgent colour palette, the neck collar, even the cap. It is unashamedly glamorous.”
