BOS gives Mira Showers a fresh new look
Brand and packaging design agency BOS has given Mira Showers a new on-shelf look.
The new designs feature QR Codes and will be claiming shelf space in stores throughout the UK during the coming days, including B&Q, Homebase, and big trade retailers.
The launch forms part of the bathroom products manufacturer’s marketing strategy to maintain its market-leader position and has been in the planning for more than a year, according to BOS.
According to BOS, Mira Showers has become the first bathroom products company in the UK to launch new packaging which includes QR Codes.
The designs include ‘hero’ product shots that highlight Mira’s brand values.
BOS managing director and joint owner Guy Douglass said: “Mira presented us with an interesting challenge because they had recognised a problem of similarity in the shower segment, particularly in consumer-facing direct purchase situations.
“It was getting to the stage where it was virtually impossible for the customer to clearly differentiate between many offerings of own brand and independent brands on shelf.”
Mira Showers marketing manager Roger Crabb added: “We wanted to create a confident, bold, and consistent brand identity with strong values presented on our packaging and are extremely proud of what we have achieved with BOS. From a commercial point of view we also wanted to gain maximum support from key retailers and early reactions to our designs are very encouraging indeed.”
Mira Showers packaging redesign is being launched throughout September and October in UK stores across 73 product line SKU’s in the company’s electric, mixer, power and digital shower ranges.
