LFH designs packaging for triple-flavour chewing gum
London-based packaging design agency LFH has created the packaging for a new chewing gum from Finland's largest confectionery company Fazer.
Fazer appointed LFH as its brand consultancy last year and asked the company to develop the packaging for the latest addition to its Xylimaz gum range, Xylimax Flow.
The gum is sold in 25g bags and comes in two flavour varients – lime and cactus; raspberry and peach – that are released sequentially and end with a menthol flavour meaning the consumer can taste three flavours one after the other.
The packaging communicates the fact that each flavour is released after a short interval as well as conveying the benefit to teeth.
Fazer brand manager Annukka Storm said: "LFH has come up with an uncompromising design that more than meets our objectives and will position the new gum strongly in the market."
LFH creative director Steve Irvine said: "The design we have created will clearly convey Xylimax’s key benefits and convey to the consumer the sensational flavour experience."
