TGW has been successfully using the COMMISSIONER lifting beam system since 1998. Besides the storage of fast-moving goods, the COMMISSIONER is often used as a sequencer to supply order-picking workstations with the right products.

The rack integration allows for minimum approach dimensions and consequently optimum volume utilisation at maximum performance rates. TGW’s COMMISSIONER can be implemented in storage applications with a lifting beam length of up to 10 metres and a height of up to 20 metres. Depending on the customer's requirements, COMMISSIONER machines may be used as standalone solutions or in blocks. With nearly 1,000 COMMISSIONER systems already installed across the world, the success of this storage concept is evident.

In combination with different rack types, the COMMISSIONER accommodates all types of TGW load-handling devices. This allows for the storage of different types of cartons, totes or trays in single or multi-deep storage applications.

Depending on the payload and performance requirements, the COMMISSIONER may be equipped with one or two load handling devices. Thanks to energy recovery and its lightweight construction, this machine is extremely energy efficient.
