Natural and artificial light alike can affect dairy product quality, especially long-life milk and yoghurt, but also soya drinks. Light exposure causes chemical reactions that can modify the proteins and fats in these products, damaging flavour and vitamin content.
To protect light sensitive beverages from these light-associated dangers and therefore extend shelf-life and ensure quality, RESILUX has launched a range of light-blocking products called ResiBlock®:
- ResiBlock® 0: guarantees no light transmission even within the visual light range
- ResiBlock® 2: limits the light transmission to 2%
- ResiBlock® 4: limits the light transmission to 4%
