K5 model is the most powerful cartoning machine of the universal K series. The K5 horizontal cartoning machine is designed for packaging of a wide range of products in pre-glued cartons. K5 allows for packaging of single pieces or collated packaging. The K5 cartoning machine works with cartons formed from side-glued preforms.

EQUIPMENT OF K5 CARTONING MACHINE

The K5 cartoning machine is controlled by a PLC unit interfaced with the operator by a touch screen. The control system will save multiple programs of packaging adjustments. The basic K5 model consists of a product infeed conveyor, charge station, storage stacker for carton preforms with a carton feeder, and a hotmelt gluing unit. K5 machines operate in continuous mode with stepless performance settings. The concept of the machine allows easy and smooth resetting within the dimensional range of cartons.

PACKAGING INTO CARTONS

The infeed conveyor brings the product towards the charge station. A carton preform is picked from the stacker and a box is formed. Products are inserted in the charge station. Then the carton is closed and glued. A hotmelt gluing system is utilized. The cartoning machine installation has IP Code 54 protection. In the standard version, the machine is painted. An optional version is available in stainless steel 1.4301. The cartoning machine can be equipped with a wide range of special functional accessories.
