Model K1 is the horizontal cartoning machine designed for processing of cartons using pre-glued preforms. The machine can package single or grouped products for immediate sale or in packages for transport. It is optimized for the manufacturing cycle using the intermittent operation mode. Compact dimensions, flexible design and favourable price make the K1 model ideal for applications at lower speed processes. The K1 machine and all the K family are extremely flexible and configuration adaptable. K1 machine may be optionally equipped with various infeed systems and for various cartons. All the K models are available in stainless steel.
CARTONING MACHINE IN USE
The basic design of the cartoning machine includes the product infeed conveyor, pneumatic charge station, a removable storage stacker for carton preforms, carton feeder and a hotmelt gluing unit. The machine operates in the stepper mode. This concept of the cartoning machine allows easy and smooth resetting within the dimensional range of cartons. The product comes via the infeed conveyor towards the charge station. A carton preform is picked from the stacker, a box is formed and products are inserted in the charge station. Then the carton is glued and closed. A hotmelt gluing system is utilized.
