The CTT Series skin packaging machines are designed for entry level and low volume applications. They incorporate a stationary heating system with instant on/off heaters, which come up to heat instantly during cycles and turn off for loading/unloading. The CTT skin packaging machines have timer control for repeatability and an optional accurate turbine regulator and automatic film cut off. These machines are a sturdy welded steel construction with removable panels for servicing. The CTT Series is available in the standard size 18 inches by 24 inches as well as smaller custom sizes.
Operation:
The operator places the master card on the machine bed, loads product and depresses the cycle start button to initiate the skin packaging cycle. At the end of the heating cycle, the operator manually lowers the film clamping frame toward the vacuum box while automatic timer controlled vacuum is applied. The operator then opens the film clamping frame, pulls the finished card forward and closes the film clamping frame. The operator cuts the finished card film to separate it. A new section of film has automatically been loaded into the clamping frame during this process. The finished skin card is now ready for die cutting, if necessary, on one of our RT Series machines.
