Some advantages of our PLA paper disposable products as follow:
1. PLA Resin: We use 100% pure biodegradable PLA from NatureWorks LLC to laminate with uncoated paperboard. Our product are biodegradable and compostable, and are already certified according to EN 13432 and ASTM D6400 for biodegradability and compostability.
2. Certificate: We can show you our OK Compost (AIB-Vincotte), DIN Certco, BPI, BPS certificates for our PLA-coated paperboard, PLA-coated paper cups, and PLA lids. Tests were carried out in Belgium through OWS (Organic Waste Systems) under EN 13432 and ASTM D 6400-04 standards.
3. Disintegration: Our products reached 99.9% disintegration rate after 12 weeks of composting, which is well above the 90% pass level as required by EN 13432 and ASTM D 6400-04 in 180days. Our product are backed/endorsed by OK Compost and you can be assured that all the concerns regarding the safety of using our product is taken care of.
4. Biodegradation: Our products reached the 90% pass level for biodegradation rate in 45 days. The standard period is within 180days.
5. Coating Thickness: We are the the leader in laminating PLA on to paperboard and our coating thickness is 31.25gsm or 25 microns. This is currently the thinnest in the PLA converting industry.
6. Uncoated Paperboard: FSC certified and also conform to U.S. FDA standards for direct food contact. It is safe to use.
7. Quality: Excellent PLA lamination. NO DE-LAMINATION.
