The 'standard' version is portable and designed to be used with the firm's Polylite film, while the 'power' turntable is being targeted at larger-scale firms.

"Power pre-stretch is the most cost-effective method of stretch wrapping pallets and gives the best load containment. Our new turntable stretches the film 250%," said managing director James Woollard.

Both versions have the options of loading ramps and a compressing arm to hold pallets in place.

"Many machines are fitted with a 1.5m turntable, which can lead to pallet overhang and could cause a person to be caught between the rotating pallet and either the wall or a fixed part of the machine. We provide 2m turntables," said Woollard.
