Krones Acclaimed its Prosperous Increase among the Economic Depression
2008-12-01
Krones AG, the manufacturer of beverage filling and packaging technology, has announced its increase in sales by 14% to EUR1.1bn (£950.1m) during the first six years in 2008. The boost is believed to spurred by soaring demand from Eastern Europe, Asia and Africa.

The pre-tax earnings of the company has soared by 21% to €91.8m, while the margin after tax rose by 31% to €62.4m.
According to Volker Kronseder, chairman of the executive board, the company has boosted over the first half of the year in 2008 and the prospect remains promising down the line. The increasing report attributes to rising demand for packaged beverages and foods as well as people’s desire to seek for higher quality of life.

Those are believed to be reasons why they could survive in spite of the economic depression.
