Another Temperature Indicator Coming down the Road
2008-12-01
Ale from Caffrey's has been recently attached to a temperature sensitive indicator on the packaging, which is intended to attract youngers’ attention.

The sensor will be displayed on a Caffrey's Celtic knot embedded in thermochromic ink. If the condition is wonderful for consumers to drink, the ink will turn into blue to suggest ideal drinking temperature.

The product was sweetly mellow and wonderfully pure at the same temperature as lagers and is the first ale to utilize the chemical technics.

The new packs will be promoted through activities and campaigns in stores when they step into the market.

David Wigham, Coors portfolio activation director, said: “We are sure the design will be a big hit with drinkers as well as standing out on shelf and in chillers for retailers.”
