Jestic to bring Ugolini’s smallest ever drinks machine to the UK
2016-09-07

From:Foodbev

Jestic – the exclusive distributor of Ugolini ice cream and beverage machines in the UK – has announced the launch of a new Micro series of machines.

Designed to produce chilled and frozen beverages including slushes, granitas or frozen cream-based coffees and drinks, the Micro boasts impressive performance despite its stylish, space-saving and compact design. It is the smallest model in the Ugolini portfolio, Jestic said.

In spite of its petite size, the Micro features a 3 litre bowl that has been specially designed for the consistent preparation of cold cream-based beverages, while also proving the optimum size for small production quantities in order to avoid waste. A simple and intuitive electronic control ensures optimum consistency, even for those with limited training, while a single pull-down lever dispenses the beverage in a quick and controlled manner, ideal for portion control and busy trading periods.

The machine features a fashionable clear or stylish grey transparent bowl and an easy-to-clean white shell, which can also be personalised for added effect.

Michael Eyre, product director for Jestic Foodservice Equipment, said:“Frozen shakes and coffee-based beverages are nothing new to the UK, however the market does tend to be dominated by the high-street coffee chains. While using blended ice is ideal for speed and profit margin, using frozen cream to provide a more indulgent, rich flavoured drink is something that has been growing on the continent for a number of years. The Ugolini Micro has been developed primarily for this purpose and thanks to its unique design and elements taken from the larger models in the company’s portfolio, is able to produce a range of beverages to an exceptional standard, while retaining a minimal footprint.”
