Ball Packaging designs “groovy” Heineken can
2015-07-16

From:Packaging News

The design of the can, now entirely horizontally grooved, shows an unprinted bulk of the can’s surface, leaving the metal’s natural reflective qualities to create a visual effect.

The grooved edges offer a tactile experience, providing a stabile grip on the new 33-cl can.

John Reed, manager product commercial at Ball Packaging Europe, said: “We wanted to include a significant amount of debossed features in the design in order to give the can a unique look without compromising the structure integrity of the package.”
