Wood packaging material should be paid high attention by those China enterprises while exporting goods to other markets, a spokesman from Henan Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau of China said after a batch of wood packaging exports failed to pass the quarantine inspection.
 
 Wood Packaging imports and exports are considered ways to transmit pest worldwide. Therefore, most countries impose strict measurements in order for pest control. In 2005, China has started implementing the International Wood Packaging Standard (ISPM No. 15), which is widely used around the world. It prescribes that all wood packaging material for exports must be sourced from those enterprises who have passed authority’s inspection, and be affixed with IPPC special marks.
