2008-11-28
London design agencies walked away with a series of International Food and Beverage Creative Awards (FAB Awards) for packaging design in London last week.
Turner Duckworth London and San Francisco was awarded the FAB Agency of the Year prize, along with the award for baking and sweet foods, for its Honey Bee range for Waitrose, and another for its Coca-Cola brand identity work.
Other London-based winners included Cowan, which won the savoury food sector for its packaging of Heinz Farmers Market soup range, Ziggurat Brands in the health foods sector for Munchy Seeds, and Pearlfisher in the non-alcoholic drinks sector for its work for Innocent Drinks.
Sandstrom Design, Portland, and Family Business from Sweden both won packaging design awards in the popular alcoholic drinks sector for St Germain Liqueur and Absolut Disco, respectively.
More than 3,600 pieces of work from over 65 countries were entered into the awards.
The event marked the tenth anniversary of the FAB Awards, which celebrate creative work for food and drinks brands across all advertising and branding media.
