Smirnoff uses shaker-shaped bottle for cocktail range

Diageo brand Smirnoff has launched pre-mixed and ready to serve Perfect Pour Cocktails in packaging that looks like a cocktail shaker.

The packaging is a silver cocktail shaker-shaped bottle and features green text for the Smirnoff Mojito and red for the Smirnoff Cosmopolitan.

Prior to the UK launch Diageo, tested the product for six months in the off trade in Ireland.

The company added that Perfect Pour Cocktails were trialled in 600 stores across the region featuring dedicated merchandising units.

"We are confident that the new Smirnoff Perfect Pour Cocktails will perform very well in Great Britain," said Steve Hamilton, director of innovation at Diageo GB.

The Cosmopolitan is a blend of vodka, Triple Sec liqueur, cranberry and lime. The Mojoito is mixed with vodka, Key Lime liqueur and mint.
