Beverage packaging: V8 V-Fusion launches green tea line in fruit-hued bottles

Campbell Soup Company is expanding its V8 V-Fusion line of beverages with new V8 V-Fusion +Tea juice beverages. These beverages provide a combined serving of vegetables and fruit in each 8-ounce glass, along with the antioxidants and cool, crisp taste of natural green tea, all for 50 calories per serving.

“People love V8 V-Fusion beverages for their fruit flavor and the convenience of drinking their vegetables,” said Dale Clemiss, Vice President, Beverage Marketing, V8 Beverages. “Now we’re giving people a new reason to enjoy our beverages by introducing a juice beverage with a hint of natural green tea–an increasingly popular light and nutritious beverage choice. The result is a unique combination of refreshing taste and nutrition you can’t get from any other beverage on the market.”

Clemiss attributes the success of the V8 V-Fusion brand, which has been very popular with consumers since its launch in 2006, to innovation and staying on-trend with new flavor varieties. The success of V8 V-Fusion beverages has helped to grow the V8 juice business to a billion dollar brand.

V8 V-Fusion +Tea juice beverages are available in three flavors: Raspberry Green Tea, Pomegranate Green Tea and Pineapple Mango Green Tea. Each meets the American Heart Association’s criteria to display its heart-check mark and contains no artificial colors, flavors or preservatives.

V8 V-Fusion beverages are available at supermarkets, convenience, mass merchandise and club stores nationwide for a suggested retail price of $3.99 for a 46-ounce bottle.
