Utilizing Corrugated Packaging to Be Eco-friendly in Russia

According to a poll conducted by Nielsen, it has shown that convenience and self-descriptiveness are most important characteristics of packaging for Russian customers as they purchase products.
Among the pollees, only 9％ of them regard eco-friendly as an important feature, as well as likelihood of recycling.
The company Smurfit Kappa St. Petersburg has started out a special leaflet to educate the importance and necessity of carrying out environmentally friendly packing. They are in the hope of popularizing the project once it is launched.
Experts also advocate the application of corrugated cardboard packing, and are in favor of pulp and starch-based glue being its materials.
