Bapco Closures Shutdown in Isle of Man
2008-12-01
Bapco Closures, plastic closures manufacturer for food and drinks industry, has decided to shut down its plant in Jurby, Isle of Man. The cease of operation affects 13 jobs and production in the region.

According to Andrew Bell, general manager, this closure is due to a restructuring of Bapco Closures as it strives for economic advantage in a very demanding market. Bell continued to say that the failure of the operation didn’t pertain to efforts or professionalism of the Jurby plant. The workforce here have been dedicated to the business 100%.

Bapco Closures said that more than 165 patents have been acquired across 35 countries since its establishment in 1998.
