Wittmann Battenfeld to expand large injection-moulding kit portfolio

Plastics technology specialist Wittmann Battenfeld is continuing to develop large-scale equipment for injection moulding and is planning two launches in the coming year.

The 800 Battenfeld MacroPower machine launched at a Wittmann Battenfeld open house in April with 700 customers present.

Wittmann will be launching a 1,000 tonne machine ready for the K2010 plastics exhibition in Dusseldorf in October. A 1,600 tonne machine is due to be launched next year

Its 800-tonne clamping force was demonstrated at the open house by manufacturing a dryer centre part with a mould supplied by Coko Kunststofftechnik.
