PET packaging manufacturer APPE has supplied a new plastic aerosol container to Danish tanning products firm Nordictan.

Nordictan has been selling its products under its own brand and private label for numerous years.

The Danish tanning firm was happy with the product’s low carbon footprint – being 100% recyclable and using air instead of man-made propellants, as well as APPE’s products being certified cruelty-free and also endorsed by the Nordic-Ecolabel.

Mads Jaegerum, Nordictan managing director, said: “APPE’s SprayPET product not only complements our values, but also provides us with a fantastic looking container which has great shelf presence. We have ambitious growth plans and using SprayPET technology for our products is the right choice for our future.”

Murdoch Crawford, APPE’s dispensing systems category director, added: “This is first of many projects in the pipeline and represents a significant milestone in the history of PET aerosols.”
