Heason unveils new push-rod actuator

Motion control firm Heason Technology has added a compact push-rod actuator to its range of product positioning systems.

The Thompson T60 precision ballscrew actuator is designed for linear positioning over a long period of time with low maintenance.

"The T60 is based on the same design as the larger T90 and T130 models that suit a wide range of applications from pick and place to packaging automation," Heason said.

T60 is a push-rod style applicator with a  75x60mm profile housing and a 38m diameter hard chromed steel extension tube for travel up to 1.5m at speeds to 30cm/second.

It has a maximum input speed to 3,000rpm that means it can work with a range of motor technologies.

A wide range of accessories is also available for inline mounting with couplings or side mount options with belt drive.
