The PF45 model can glue 45 feet/minute on a base with blanks to form cardboard pallets. The blanks that form the pallet bottom are manually loaded onto a vertical magazine. The top of the machine includes three powered belts which transfer the feet loaded manually by an operator. When the feet reach the bottom of the belts, each AXIS picks up one foot with suction cups of the Venturi vacuum system. Each AXIS is electronically controlled by a driver in the horizontal and vertical directions and each AXIS picks up a foot and glues it onto the bottom of the pallet where the hot-melt glue was applied, as indicated by the PLC programs. After gluing the three feet, a chain driven by an electric axis transfers the pallet bottom to the new gluing position. After all the feet have been glued on, the pallet is transferred to the outfeed roller conveyor by means of belts.
