The PowerPouch® Intermittent Motion Packagers are versatile Horizontal Form/Fill/Seal (HFFS) pouch packaging machines exclusively designed and manufactured by Southern Packaging Machinery. The PowerPouch® line of packagers surpass industry standards for flexibility, combined with state of the art technology to enhance efficiency and productivity in any packaging environment. The PowerPouch® line is uniquely designed to accommodate a wide range of pouch styles, including 3 and 4-side fin sealed pouches, gussetted pouches, as well as self-standing pouches. In addition, the PowerPouch® can be equipped to run tandem or 3-up pouches, internal membrane and the popular re-closable zippered pouches. With a broad pouch size range and multiple fill capabilities, the PowerPouch® can package everything from soup to nuts, and cosmetics to medical devices. The PowerPouch® and PowerPouch® with High Speed Funnel Conveyor are available in a variety of machine pitch and work station configurations. The standard machine comes equipped with indexes of six (IM 6), seven (IM 7) and nine (IM 9) inches and up to sixteen (16) work stations. However, based on Southern Packaging's experience in custom and specialty applications, we can design equipment specific to your requirements. Size changeovers including bag width and height are accomplished with minimal effort utilizing adjustable seal bars and a web forming plow. All of the timing functions on the machine are controlled by a programmable limit switch, and can be adjusted for accurate timing, while the machine is running.
