Hot Air Drying
The ground plastic product is transferred into cyclone via the fan. air is evacuated from the cyclone and t falls on the rotating valve to ensure balanced and stable product feeding to the system In the system while the fan in the body draws in the product on the hand it also draws in heated air from the electrical resistances. The product rotates along the body together with the hot air and allows the heat to penetrate into the body of the product. While the humidity on the product is evacuated via the other evacuation cyclone the dried product is transferred to the desired area. Altech automation system has been implemented successfully and allows for the drying of the product with low energy consumption and its transfer to the next station on the line. the advantage of the system is it operates on a continuous basis and doesn’t need operator intervention. As there is no excessive friction there is no discolouration or change in the product. There are no maintenance expenses involved for the blade, bearings etc.
