DuPont manufactures transparent cap for luxury Givenchy perfume

DuPont Surlyn technology has manufacturerd a transparent cap for Givenchy’s relaunched retro L’Interdit women’s frgarance.


Created in 1957, the relaunched version of L’Interdit has a new bottle taking the form of a translucent glass vial with a large thick base and smooth cap.

Dow DuPont’s parent company, said the effecto fo the clean crisp transparent cap adds to the pack’s refined, yet totally contemporary feel, with the bottle capturing the essence of femininity while enhancing the soft pink coloured perfume that shines from within.

Surlyn features crystalline transparency, the absence of inclusions and an ability to allow high material thicknesses in mono-injection.

Shouhaib Mohamed, marketing manager perfumes & cosmetics at Dow, said: “We are once again extremely proud to work with Givenchy on this demanding project, sharing our knowledge, thanks to our close partnership with Axilone. The rendering of the cap is perfect.”
